Career Choice in the Age of Artificial Intelligence Discussed at Science Café Events
A talk titled “Career Choice in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” was organized by our university’s Science Communication Office as part of the Council of Higher Education’s Science Café events, themed “Employment-Oriented Professions and Professions of the Future.”
High school and university students, as well as members of the public, attended the program held at the Hakkari Public Education Center Conference Hall.
Dr. Seyfettin Anmaç, a faculty member at our University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, participated as a speaker in the event—moderated by Hazal Yüksekkaya, Coordinator of the Science Communication Office. He informed the participants about the transformation artificial intelligence is driving in the labor market, general perspectives on the job sectors affected by AI, occupational groups at risk versus those less impacted by this transformation, emerging career fields, the skills required during this process, and a roadmap for career planning for young people.
