Science Communication Event on “Apitherapy” and “The World of Bees”

A Science Communication Event on “Apitherapy” and “The World of Bees” to be Held in Yüksekova.

A science communication event will be organized by the Hakkari University Science Communication Office on May 18, 2026, in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari province, with the aim of raising scientific awareness within the community.

As part of the event, which will take place between 13:00 and 14:00 at the Demeter Organic Agriculture House (Güngör Neighborhood, Millet Park/Yüksekova):

Assistant Professor Ali Murat Keser will hold a talk on “Apitherapy”;

Assistant Professor Sezgin Karaman will give a presentation titled “The World of Bees.”

Assistant Professor Hazal Yüksekkaya will serve as the event moderator.

The event, which aims to increase public access to scientific knowledge, will share scientific information with participants regarding the role of bees in the ecosystem, beekeeping activities, and the use of bee products in the field of health.

All citizens are invited to the event.
